Sit with me in the park now

Send a message home

 

Gaze at the blue sky

Sit on the grass below you

Breathe in the sweet air

 

Stay here forever

Be one with the wind and sky

Let dewdrops reign

    Your poem describes such peaceful imagery. Suddenly I want to lay in a park and stare at the sky even though I don't like sitting on grass XD. I think you conveyed this tranquil experience very well.

    The imagery of the poem is very soothe and peaceful. It captures how most people would feel if they were at the park. There is a lot of concrete setting in this poem as well as some abstract setting which all contribute to making a perfect setting for this poem.

    I really love the imagery of this poem. I think there's something very emotive about your word choice that captures a feeling of tranquility, contentment, and ease. The last stanza especially does this really well!
